so every time i go to do them i either do them too late and it looks like 270 out because i just tap end and done... or i do early and catch tips or get the 180 around but sliding on tips and i slide off right away.
i come into the rail straight on. i dont know what to do to get them.

how long is the box/bar?

When you pop into the rail make sure you have a strong centered stance so you can get a good pop and spin the 180, as you land sort of lock onto the rail again and look to the end so you dont fall. good luck!

By dipping the front tip it gives you a better angle to spin off of. Obviously you will have to lift the tip back up to clear the rail. Once you pop, just look over your ashoulder and you should get it fine.

I had some trouble learning these too, but seriously all you need to do is just practice practice practice. I just hiked a box for a while and eventually got confident enough to do them on other stuff. And now there super easy : )

do you look down at the rail when u do them? try when after your looking over your shoulder dont look down at all just watch the end of the rail, works wonders for me.

well i actually just learned them too on a flat down, but i have moved to a flat box and rail. i slide rails w. my right foot forward. i come onto the the rail box or w.e spin the 90 degrees n as i land on the box i concentrate on facing my shoulders up the hill while looking down the rail, then i dipp my front foot to help w. the rotation also then pop from the knees and turn my head up hill also following my body up hill and spining the 180. just keep in mind to stay center on what ever you may be sliding.
