Backside of Granite Peak?

I've skied at Granite my entire life, but I never really hiked around the back in the winter to see if it was ski-able. Has anybody tried this when there was enough snow? I'm very curious.

no, definitely wouldnt try it. same with anything west of granite. never enough snow

yeah tried in the past, way to gnarly. Not sure if you have seen granite in the summer its full of huge boulders so you would need 100+ inches of snow to make it even close to skiable

At the peak of snowfall in the winter it is possible to ski.. but don't bring out new skis! Its def slow too. but if your bored and ready for an adventure go for it!
