I know you said no dakine, but I have a dakine chute pack and it's fantastic. I haven't used it yet, but I had a poacher, which is essentially the same pack just bigger. I was looking for something a bit lower profile, so I sold my poacher, bought the chute, and couldn't be happier. It's got both a frame and diagonal carry, more pockets than you could want, but can be cinched down to be very small. Again, it's just a pack, but it's dope as hell, and I'd reccommend it for sure.
