Anyone know of any good 4-5 hikes in Oregon? Me and my friends are looking at planning one for this summer and we were wondering if anyone on here had any good ideas.
 
there are so many good ones around hood! but i cant think of the names ... ill look into the names later and tell ya when i find out!!
 
I just got in from a weekend backpack trip in Algonquin, Ontario. Its not in Oregon but its apparenly got the hardest trails the eastern portion of north america
 
im more of a canoer my self, i ushually only go on one or two back backing trips a year so i wont be a lot of help, plus i live in the west
 
i got back from a backpacking trip three weeks ago that was supposed to last a week but we ended up only staying for two days because of the weather. After hiking through nonstop rain for a whole day we got in our tent and didn't leave it or see anyone other than our tentmates for 18 hours because of the hard rain, we had a river of rainwater running through our campsite. ALl of our gear was soaked and we decided that we couldn't get through the week with no dry clothes so we had to hike out and when we did the trail was blocked by a gigantic mudslide so we had to hike 7 miles out the other way because of it. needless to say, no matter how much i love backpacking, i was more than happy to be home and take a shower.
