Where have you gone and where are you hoping to go? I've done some in New Mexico and the marble mountains and I'm hoping to go to the grand Titons.
 
Asia dude! my best memories are from 8 months in Indonesia! Truly the most magical place! and cheap as fuck.. witch is important for an backpacker..

also Vang Vieng (Laos) should be the shit, i want to go there!
 
Absaroka-Beartooth, Selway-Bittertoot, Frank Church-River of No Return, and the Bob Marshall Wilderness areas are all great places. Glacier National Park also has great backpacking opportunities.
 
i just got a backpack for christmas, im gonna be going on some mad adventures this summer. dont know where yet though
 
Dub post but I'm hoping to go to the Wyoming Absarokas, the Wind River Range, the Sawtooth Range, the Uinta Mountains, and the Bighorn Mountains.
 
Did a bit in Costa rica and panama, only a few weeks but still amazing non the less, currently planing a 2 month trip with my gf to India, should be an experience
 
as an east coaster, i am particular to the white mountains. presidential range is prime time, especially when the weather is good. hit washington last year on a day they could see their farthest benchmark (a mountain in canada over 200 miles away). best day of the trip. would like to do the whole appalachian trail after college, even if i can only do it in bits and pieces. never have backpacked out west though. but considering i am going to move out there after school i will one day.
 
Going to the canadian Rockies hopefully this summer, and then possibly Peru in the fall if things work out. South America is somewhere I've always wanted to go.

 
Backpacking through Turkey this summer with a girl. She's been to Germany, Iceland, Europe, etc...

This'll be my first time.

Me and my best friend did a mini backpacking trip this summer, we could only be away for 2 and a half weeks due to our school and job, but we went to Copenhagen-Berlin-Prague-Salzburg-Hallstatt-Munich, maaaaad fun. I would love to do a greater Eurotrip in the summer of 2014, should be away for at least a month and go from north to south, east to west.
 
Been backpacking/scrambling in the bc coast mountains since I was a kid. Used to get out every weekend in the summer back in high school.

As far of traveling I've backpacked a bit around belize/guatemala/nicaragua and am about to start saving for a peru/bolivia trip for the end of this summer.
 
i've spent way too many cold nights in the adirondacks. and that's maily in the summer haha. usually only 2-3 day trips though
 
i worked for a security firm in iraq for a year, got paid crazy money, and have been backpacking europe ever sense. Started out in findland and made my way to germany and down through switzerland and italy. Plan on walking across china to india over the next 2 years. Also backpacked in Brazil as a child.
 
Haven't been able to do a lot of backpacking but on the island I'm from I've hiked Mt. Albert-Edward and the West Coast Trail.
