Do you trampoline often? That can really help. Get that air-awareness up so you dont freak out when you go upside for the first time, it can also help with spotting the landing.
1. Build a backyard jump on a powdery day for example, a good sized jump we bit, hit this with a lot of speed
Do not undersize the jump you build because you will not make the backflip around
2. POP WITH YOUR LEGS i cannot tell you how important this is to use your legs. Still use your arms to help get your flip around, but if you dont pop hard with your legs you're going to have a bad time, especially on a small jump.
3. Airbag if possible? That or water ramp?
4. Send it, its not as hard as you may think. If you pop hard, swing ur arms to get that momentum, be patient off the takeoff, and have yourself a nice powdery landing, you got it
Goodluck dude
