yea man you would have it dialed, but before you try it this season, do a few straight airs on the jump to get the feel of how hard to throw it, and if you dont do straight aris you will probably eat shitcakes

ya i can pull fronts on a trampoline easy....but i never really tried a back on one.... i can fakie backflip into a pool and land on my feet...the pool was only 4 ft deep....what should i try first u guys think? front or back?

bib-maybe because you are suicidal

i'd say throw a helmet on a bust them on the snow. you'll be fine :-)

A backflip on skis is exactly like a standing back on grass. You do it the exact same way. The reason why it might not be exactly like doing it on the tramp is because a lot of people might not be doing it properly on the tramp and huckin' themselves back hard and if you do that on skis, you will over rotate and land on your back. So just practice doing a back on a trampoline just standing with no bounce and do it the same way. This will help you make sure you know how to do on the slopes, its like a standing back, but instead of jumping 2 ft. in the air, your jumping 10.

so tricks on a tramp are the same as on skis, like I can throw every fundamental move on a trampoline just gonna try em all out this winter and am kinda worried....

Being Irish, I guess I should resent the Notre Dame nickname 'The Fighting Irish.' After all, how long do you think nicknames like 'The Bargaining Jews' or 'The Murdering Italians' would last? Only the Ironic Irish could be so naively honset. I get the feeling that Notre Dame came real close to naming itself 'The Fuckin Drunken, Thick-Skulled, Brawling, Short-Dicked Irish'

ok hold on, backflips on skis is like a GAINER (forward traveling backflip) off a diving board or on a tramp, not like a normal up and down backflip on a tramp or ground or a switch one off a diving board, a backflip on skis is different because your hips are the most crutial part of it, besides committing your upper body, when you do it you experience a whole new kind of momentum and instead of just flinging your upper body, you have to thrust your hips first, an easy way to learn backflips is just try them off the lippiest jump you can find, like something with a 70 degree take off, i taught my friend backflips by basically building a lump of snow with out any transition and making it a mad steep lip, all he had to do was boost off it and lean back a little and the jump threw him into it, now he can do them like a pro

the trampoline i use sucks. its good for bouncing high but it has no padding on the sides and ive gotton hurt trying mistys and then falling over to the side if i dont nail it perfectly square on my feet, and i hit the metal bars, so im too freaked to try a back or anything else. it fucking sucks i hate it

I agree with redbomber... Diving boards are the way to go! Dial it up on the 1 meter, then slow it down and throw it off the 3 meter. Using a trampoline, you can depend a lot upon the spring of the tramp, which doesn't make you learn the movements you need to make with your body. Also, you are landing further down off of a diving board, much like a ski jump.
