So recently I have landed my first backflip on a 10 maybe 15 foot jump. I want to take it to a 20-25 footer we have but no idea how. The one I landed was on that small jump and I over rotated on attempt. I was setting it really hard and I know if i did it on the big one id over rotate, but i dont want to not throw it hard enough either. Ant tips?

do it normally but once you spot your landing stay layed out for a tiny bit longer, and maybe try some off 5 or 7m diving boards

just dont throw it as hard?

lol well no duh. I'm just not sure how much less harder I should throw it bc I don't want to not throw it hard enough and get caught when I'm halfway around

Catching your tips is better than landing on your head. I learned my first one on a 35 footer and caught my tips hard and slid down the landing un hurt. I tried again and landed my second time. You don't even have to throw that hard, and you can see the landing pretty well.

Spot your landing when its around 3/4 and judge if your going to stomp it, over rotate or under rotate and adjust accordingly
