my friend told me about idk a half hour ago that he thinks that backflips are easier than 360s. should i stick my foot up his ass or kick him in the face with a steal toed boot?

I attempted backflips before 3's. I'd say they're easier but you need to know how to do them on a tramp.

i absolutley agree with him. but only on one condition, that you are so damn comfortable with backies that there's never a second thought when you want to do one.

Right now with my skiing i will flip as a warm up trick/feeling out a jump. usually straight air, 360, then backie.

I definatley think they are easier and way more fun too

Yea, I never completed a back flip last season because i could never commit. I've been practicing a ton this summer on the tramp and now its cake, but I hope I can commit this season on the slopes. And I was thinking, what is an ideal jump size to learn a bf on. 20 ft? 25?

actually frontflips are easier to land and less chance of big wipeouts because even if you dont get the whole rotation your momentum will push u forward. thats more sso on a powder jump though. if u dotn quite get the rotation on backfli you will eat it

i still cant do them on tramps and i can do them on snow and water ramps at high north but yeah they are easier i landed my first backflip off the water ramps and never rotated one wrong expect one and that was cause i dunno it just went bad

I've never done a backflip... well, only on a trampoline. I can do 360s pretty easily, but I come from a rollerblading background, where 3s are done off everything, so I didn't see that much difficulty in doing a 3.

yeah when i was up at camp i just tryed one off the small kicker at the water ramps and since then i was throwin them easy and yes i would say easier then a 3

it depends on the conditions, where as 60ft table def a 3 before a backflip...but a little 15-20 i would have no prob doing backflips

i landed backflip first try, whilst it took a few to land a three. i did my first back off a tree fot high jump that was very small.

for me personally, I think they're harder than 360. I first learned 360, then frontflips and then finally backflips.

3's are def harder than backs...but fronts are way harder than either....they are blind....and yes i've done all 3....that's just my opinion tho

I think that 3's are pretty easy, way easier than a backflip would be, I would be pretty nervous to throw a backflip and the first time I did a 3 i wasnt nervous at all. Thats just me...

if i can backflip real easily on a tramp shouldnt it be pretty simple for me to do it on snow?

hahahahh I'm leaving for water ramps on monday. So im pretty positive illl be doing flips on snow this year. It'll be fun ahha. I've always wanted to be able to jsut do a backflip because all the old people and girls and little kids are like, "OMG WOW OMG DID HE JUST DO THAT WHHOWHOWHWOWHOWHOWOW!!!!!". It'll be funny.

Also my bro a year younger then me learnt them this year.... he snowboards....i can't let this go any longer with the whole "little snowbaorder brother" backflipping and im not haha.

I'm tired of that cliche, backflips are not easier than 360, yes they are both pretty easy tricks but cmon, 360's you just pop and look over your shoulder if you fuck it up at least you are probably bailing somewhere on the lowerhalf of your body, not your neck. It's hard to time really big backs sometimes because you don't always know exactly whats going on in the middle of it sometimes, 3's you alwways have a clear veiw of your surroundings and everything is right side up, just my two cents

well i can three with out a jump, i cant back flip with out one. so i think theyre tougher

to the few people who said fronts are easier... hahaaa.... you go into your landing blind. how is that easier? on a back you can spot your landing once you are half way around. FRONTS ARE NOT EASIER.
