Backcountry Setup?

Hey, I was thinking about buying some gear to make a backcountry setup this year to go with my new JJs, does anyone recommend any skins, or any other items I will need? i'm very new to this, I usually ski on-hill in the northwest, so what other gear will I need? +k for help

first off, take an avy class if you are really going into the backcountry

you will want a good pack, with a shovel, probe, and extra supplies

a avalanche beacon

good outerwear. i wouldnt recommend going out with something like first drop. bring layers
