Backcountry kickers

What's up people,

Heading out to the Rockies this weekend with a couple buddies, need some tips on building backcountry kickers, I know what kinda area I plan on building the kicker but more about the actual construction as I want it to last as long as possible (prefferbly like a week)

How big should I make the snow blocks?

Should I ice the walls of the jump when it's finished?

What should I use to mark the lip and sides of the jump?

Any input is welcomed and appreciated, cheers guys

Match the angle of the takeoff to the angle of the landing so its smooth. If you make it icy it'll last longer. Build it and then let it sit so it lasts longer.

Genius, never liked the whole twig thing, thanks man

another tip (just the tip hurhurhur) would be to make the jump in fairly warm weather and always soften the landing, then proceed to gatorade the landing as well
