Backcountry in Colorado/Utah?

Hey,
We're going to US next winter to shoot backcountry and park mostly in Colorado and Utah. Does someone have any tip for backcountry spots in Colorado and Utah?It would be sweet if you link us up with some webpages so we can take a look!
Thanks!

Yo man outside of crested butte colorado has some amazing backcountry. I actually live out here, the only way to get to our house is by snowmobile. We know all the good spots, sick lines and everything. It's our back yard which has some of the best BC skiing in colorado no doubt.

scope out this website, we live right by there lodge, it's just so you can kinda get a feel for what's up here! what they do is pretty basic skiing, but man come up with us and we'll show you where the goods are at and get some sick skiing done!

Why limit yourself to just CO and UT?

Why not look at Tahoe, Jackson, MT, PNW. All of these places get a lot of snow too.

nah.

theres none of that backcountry out there. try the east coast if u want hardcore, steep and deep, real stuff...mannn

False, I've posted in two threads. Only to argue about co vs Tahoe(which was not started by me). Needless to say I was just offering him other ideas. If I wanted to argue about how Tahoe is so fuckin Rad I would have only named Tahoe but instead I named some other amazing areas, perhaps ones HE HASN'T HEARD OF. Considering that this guy is coming to the US to shoot bc (aka he isn't from the country) I thought I would be helpful in offering other areas that might be of interest. Especially since the Colorado snowpack can and most of time is the most unstable snowpack in the US. But of course you just assumed since I fuckin' get gnar points at kirkwood all the time I was boasting about how much better it was.
Point is go to wherever you want but know that CO's snowpack is very sketchy more often than not and can be dangerous to someone who isn't' from the area/country. Just be careful.

fuck yes. i ski just south of castle peak a lot and sometimes make a trip over to the san isabel area. butte has some of the best terrain in the west in my opinion
