Backcountry booters

Hey guys, wondering if anyone knows any good spots that are 'close'; i.e. within an hours drive, to the city where you can build a good powder hit. Or if anyone knows any good spots in K-country too. Pls post directions, and best time of the season to hit it up.

THX.

This has to be the most useless post ever. All the k-country is filled with endless convex rolls for backcountry booters. Just drive a car and start looking, or head to black prince, sickest place to earn your turns.

Yo, chill; I'm curious to see if anyone knows any spots closer to Calgary that are suitable for decent hits. This season I happen to be carless, so the closer to town, the better.. As for K-country, sure there are tons of places to build, but if people have found awesome spots, with tons of snow a reasonable distance from the road, I'm sure plenty of people would like to hear about them. Share the wealth.

Well on highway 40 to fortress, theres a convex roll that has seen some kickers in the past. Its worth a shot, but may need a bigger dump to hit it up.
