so for many canadians its the first day back to school. i dont know about the US. whats played at your school?

nike 6.0, so many people have them. glad i got a pair of vans this year.

and for the girls, dressing like a fucking hipster
 
well, the only trend I see is that A LOT of people break up in the first 3 weeks back. besides that not much changes

Break ups, I took advantage of one and hooked up with a chick during school hours today. Unfortunately I was the only drunk one that I know of

well i go to a prep school so nothign really changes. all the kids that have a life out of school wear sperrys, pastel pants, rediclious shirts that dont match and ties that clash so bad it kinda hurts your eyes

Kinda related to this thread, but my chem professor decided to have a girls vs boys contest in naming elements from the table. A bit through he goes "I'm not trying to ignore our chinese friends here, I just cannot tell from a chinese name whether they are male of female." I loled.

fake raybans aren't a new trend though... they've been worn by pretty much everyone for over 3 years now. that's like calling uggs a back to school trend; sure every girl and her mom will have a pair but it's nothing newto me back to school trends are something that people have just started working into their wardrobe this year. ie. girls in brogues
 
Cause they spend all their money putting tinted glass and removing mufflers on their dads bmw. They're fakes.

Who the fuck cares what other people dress or wear...Everyone follows trends to a certain extent.

 
ugh, the brogue look is so weird. brogues are hard for even the most sartorially inclined of men to pull off, and thats with a 1000$ bespoke pair. girls wearing cheap ones from urban or aldo or steve madden or wherever the fuck girls buy shoes currently, just looks gross. as far as my fall footwear goes, definitely picking up a pair of red wing iron rangers for winter wear, because boots are baller, but I can't pull of the chukka look thats still making the rounds. As far as the fall/winter color palette, you'll be seeing a lot of blacks, greys, and other neutral tones, tapered jeans in dark washes, but not super tight ones any more, and the whole americana/heritage look is going to keep coming up. Thats my prediction.
 
I figured when I graduated highschool I wouldn't even know about any of the stupid shit/trends the youth are up to these days. I wonder what kinda shit will be hot in 2040.
 
if it doesn't look forced and poorly put together, then no problem with girls dressing hipster.

you can usually spot the ones that know what they are doing and the ones just doing it because everyone else is.
 
red wings for the winter, might be difficult for winter. i've seen the sole pattern. look just as slippery as my bed stu forts. look great, just not practical.
 
everyone at UVM is the same exact person, annoys the shit outta me. They laud the fact that they are all non-conformists but all they do is conform to one another.
