Back Mounted skis in the park

Today I took my back mounted mid fats into the park and was getting fucked on everything I tried... Was way backseat on threes and kept sliding off boxes and rails... Was I just having a shitty day or does the back mount make a difference in the park???

Well I usually ride my center mount suspects in the park and I was riding Kung Fujas they are back mounted but idk how much

Yeah anything more than 3cm back sucks in the park

yeah it makes a big difference depending on what you are used to, i think you can make any mount work, but like you said if you're riding true centers most of the time and try to ride a different mount in the park it'll feel way different

Sweet that makes me feel better about my shitty ski day....I shall redeem myself on center mounts tomorrow

i can ride my -4 blends in the park just fine, and landing backseat is still gonna be back seat with center mount

It was just a shitty day in Tahoe today for most people

The back mount isn't ideal for park (I know because I have on occasion taken my prophet 100s into the park) and especially if you're coming off center or close to center it will take some time to get used to it.
