I'm not familiar with the OG comp, but I've heard of it. All I know is my home resort, Ski Liberty in PA, had a back 9 last year, and it was fun as hell.

well possibly it does, novelist dan brown, who put it one, was it in the season of '06 my memories a little hazy, also videos would obviously be most badass and beneficial

Back 9? K2's should put it back on for sure. I remember I thought that was one of the sickest comps and used to have a Back 9 poster.

Mike Douglas won it, Andy Mahre threw some sick switch shit in pow, it was all around Whistler and the Whistler/BC sidecountry. They filmed everyones runs and the riders themselves judged the winner of each 'hole'. The 9 holes ranged from two jumps in a row into pow to a good sized mountain face. I believe Theory-3-Media took care of the filming. Douglas stomped a huge backflip that was documented in one of the ski mags.
