B/S/T Sub-forums

We all know that the BST forums have lately become filled with ton of Non skiing related goods, anything from lacrosse gear to guitars. Now, while I personally dont mind seeing non skiing stuff on here, it does however make it harder to find what you are looking for.

My solution? Sub forums.

I think it would make the BST trade forums much easier to naviagate, and find what you are looking for. Maybe there could be a sub forum for skiing equipment (skis, bindings, boots and poles) another for outerwear and clothing, and another for misc. goods. If somebody has a sale where they are selling multiple items, say a jacket and skis, the same thread could maybe appear in both forums.

I don't know how well this would work, but tis just a thought.

Many of the sub forums would be absolutely dead (I don't like dead forums) and also, it would get annoying making multiple threads if you have outerwear, gear, and misc goods to sell.
 
Maybe if one thread could go in more than one sub forum. Like... when making a thread, you would have to check a box for which sub forums it goes in.

That way, if somebody wants to buy skis, they could go to the "skis" subforum
 
This is a pretty good idea but i too could see the forums becoming dead.

I personally use the searchbar and just search "skis" or "crowbars" or whatever i need and than just click the most recent threads. Thats what its for...
 
i like it how it is., the percentage of stuff that is not skiing related somehow is very minimal, dont be a lazy prick and look through an extra thread or two for what you are looking for.
 
I think its fine how it is. Remember when we had a classified section? That seems like the ideal solution here but it died...
