So im getting an Error on my Azurus for the NAT field and im pissed off because downloads are slow as hell and all the faces on the downloads say I have no remote connections. How to i fix this bitch because I can normally download at 350-700kbs.

Im using a D-Link wireless router aswell. Model #DI-524 if it helps.

Whats choking this bitch?!?!?!?

And yes there is a big thing on azuruswiki about this but i dont understand most of the terms (UPnP or NAT-PMP) so could someone break it down into simple terms for me.

Thanks

If your on a mac make sure you turn of your firewall under your system preferences. That was all I had to do to fix that same problem.

You need to open up a port on the router. Just google your router name + opening up ports. That should give you a good walkthrough to opening the port. As far as choosing a port to use, it doesn't really matter, but use one they suggest in the AzuruesWiki.

Yup... its all about forwarding a port to your computer.

Are you behind a router?

You should also check out uTorrent... fucking sweet program. I like it way better than Azeureus, 'cause its not java.

I'll give uTorrent a try...got a download link?

The D-Link router im using is fucking confusing as hell to forward ports on.

So i tried uTorrent and forwarding the ports as it says on portforwarding.com and it still seems the ports are closed.

Do I use the IP for the router (same one i put into the IE to access the settings) or do I use something else?

So my buddy on the same wireless router uses his bitlord with no problems.

I even try to use the same ports as him but the program says there is the NAT error.

My windows firewall is off. What else could it be on my computer that is fucking with my downloads?
