anyone read any of her books...cause im reading 'We the Living' now and i totally agree with what she is saying...objectivism is the way to go.

i fucking hate ayn rand. she can't write for shit. even if her ideas are interesting, her books blow.

Ayn Rand is my favorite author by far... If you like We The Living, you definitely need to try The Fountainhead or Atlas Shrugged... Altas Shrugged is a better book, but I like The Fountainhead more because it's more outrageous in a way... hard to explain. Anyway, Ayn Rand rocks!

glad you enjoyed that, petek. yeah, ok, that outburst probably made me sound dumb, so let me rephrase. Ayn Rand is an important philosopher who has brought some new and interesting ideas. but i just feel like as a writer, she's got no style.

as douglas coupland (let's talk about good authors) puts it in Generation X - everyone goes through an ayn rand phase.

and that's what it is.. a phase. she sucks. objectivism has too many holes in it. people aren't robots.
