I guess I am supposed to be an Avs fan since I am from Colorado and all, but I actually hope the Red Wings kick their ass simply because the Red Wings have true fans and the city puts so much into the team. Denver fans are so crappy, its like nobody here even cares about hockey or the avs until all of a sudden they are winning. Now I go to school and thats all anybody talks about, and every single radio station is spouting 'Go Avs', even the rap station pretending to love hockey just because the home team is winning. The same thing happened two years ago when it was the Broncos in the Super Bowl and Denver was supposedly some great football town, and now that they are a middle of the pack team, nobody cares about football or the Broncos here. I always like to see a team and the fans who deserve it win a championship in any sport, and Detroit deserves this one.

last year i wanted the Avs to win so bad because my roll model was on the team Ray that was a beautiful sight to see him raise the cup. it sucks being a bruins fan your whole life they are just full of dissapointments-same with the red sox

gdubs i agree with you but i think any town is like that pretty much except for a few teams that will always have fans no matter how much they suck.
