AVCHD?

Looking for advice in dealing with AVCHD files. I use sony cameras' the shot in this format. Which editing system would work best? I currently use Final Cut Pro, I'm thinking sony vegas because I know that it does well with AVCHD. Any advice would be appreciated.

I can help if you're looking to convert them to .mov files.

There are a lot of shitty videos, but this is the best that I've found for a free app that can convert them and is relatively painless.

Follow the instructions & he provides the links in there as well. Hopefully this helps.
