Wow, scary stuff. If by 15 feet deep they are talking crown, then that's fucking gnarly. From what the article was saying it seems the guys knew what they were doing too.

my understanding from the weather channel is that they did not trigger the avalanche either. and that it was in fact cross country skiers further up the mountain.
