Automated Ski Techs

As I was getting after it with the base weld gun at work today I thought to myself, could repairing any ski damage be 100% automated? Do You think a machine could do an edge replacement? If so, how far out in the future is it?

Winterstiger has a Fully automated grinder that loads, edges, base grinds and waxes all in an enclosed system. The only thing is does not do is p-tex work and edge repair. Of coarse it retails for over half a mil but its cool as shit. To rich for the small LSS. Minimum wage shop monkeys will always be cheaper and needed for binding work and such.

The Winterstiger machine is a SO AWESOME. Anyone want to buy one?

Because of the way edges are put onto the base, it would be really hard for a machine to replace.

Who knows, maybe in the next model they make - it would be every builders dream!!
