If this is any sign of what may happen across Europe or Canada, it doesn't look great. It looks like they are planning to try and reopen after a lockdown, but I would be surprised if that happens at the pace they are expecting.

As for the US, I doubt this would happen at a national level. Potentially some states, but even then, i have my reservations about political pressure, vs. doing what is likely the right thing to do.

I'm not sure if this will happen in the U.S., since we have pretty much given up on any COVID interventions except for a vaccine.

I was supposed to leave Austria yesterday... but yeah never made it there :(

this is the curve there, which is bad , much worse then ours

Wondering what will happen here, a lot of the resorts near the capital here has 0 living stuff around it, like I can be at my hill in 10-12 minutes from my house. Currently they are open, but they are not allowing night clubs after midnight here, alcohol also stops at midnight here now.

For the resorts 2-3 hours away, everything is SOLD OUT for MONTHS, lots of friends has bought places in the mountains to go around it, and really trying to pull the money togheter myself to do it, as it looks like slopes will be open, but hotels and such might not.

Doesn't look good for austria right now but lifts are gonna spin no doubt, However it probably ends up being only a few nearby countries that are allowed to go there.

Pretty sure there is a world cup stop there this weekend. I wonder if it will get canceled.
