I've heard Austin has no shortage of breweries, great night life, and is a live music capital for the country.

I've also heard only steers and queers come from Texas.

Anyway... headed there for my bachelor party. The plan was originally to do ACL but we'll actually be going in late August.

Any thoughts?

I personally have not spent much time in Austin other than a weekend out on the lake there, it was off the hook with lots of booze and partying.

Mellow Johnny’s is a cool bike shop that is owned by Lance Armstrong, downstairs they have a lot of the bikes that he won the Tour de France with on display. The average Newschooler probably doesn’t care but I thought it was cool.
