ok i am pretty confortable with throwing my first invert, a frontflip. but since i think so hard about it and how im gonna do it, i have to wonder

when you are ready to throw the trick, as you start to throw yourself forward, your skis are still kinda on the snow and the fronts of the skis will prevent you from rotating..correct? i hear stories of people landing on their head.. is that what happens? or do you just throw it and your skis dont have any infuence on whether they catch.

by the way i dont have any powder, so dont tell me to wait for a powder day

hey man ... i tried doing a front flip twice then said fuck it and did a backflip... backs are sooooo much easier than fronts you dont even have to rotate that much also ... and on my first attempts i over rotated a backflip so you wont get hurt that bad

 
dont worry about landing on your head, just get enough air and throw it...your skis wont catch...there is a good chance that you'll land on your ass tho, so be ready for that...

Yah, just get tonnes of air and toss it....my first attempt i landed flat on my back, my second attempt was over rotated and i landed on my face, after that i figured it out. I have a good video shot of me tossing one out and screaming 'OH GOD NO!!' and the top of my lungs while mid flip...then i landed on my back.

my first attempt I landed on my head, but it was a small jump some 11 year old kids built so i was just giving them a show!

 
DUDE front arnt that hard just throw hard and tuck your head under it doesnt hurt at all if you do it in powder..

yea, read again, I DONT HAVE POWDER

mid-atlantic = no powder

ill just make sure to go off a big enough jump with enough pop then
