that is pretty inovative. i dunno though personally its just not hard enough for me to pull my cell phone or ipod out of my pocket to use it. plus i HATE those nextel walkie talkie things. i can imagine these would be crazy expensive too. original though
 
Doesn't the Burton Audex Down have hood speakers? I saw that and said "Cool idea" until I realized I'd probably be wearing a helmet 90% of the time.

And then I saw the 600$ price tag.
 
yea i saw one of those jackets in a shop today, and was wondering what it was all about. Looks pretty cool, but im not that lazy.
 
it has a pretty good sound quality in action, but I have heard from friends that it isn't the best because sometimes you can't hear it, but someone standing in front of you can. just because the speakers are located near the shoulders on the hood sort of.
 
its an insanely cool tech piece...the audio quality is great for phonecalls. Can def. hear everything, and the microphone is also really good quality (with wind dampening qualities, so you can carry on convos in incliment weather)

the ipod controls are also extremely convenient.

basically, it may be expensive, but some of the convenience features are exactly what jackets have needed for awhile. Nice to be able to voice dial someone without even touching your phone
