Attitash Park 2011-12

I was there today, decent size hip at the top with both sides groomed which is nice. Then a flat rail and flat box, a frame and down rail, and then tonight theyre putting in the flat down box, flat down rail and a down bar. Its all set up pretty well so today was a fun time

I was there today and will be lapping the park tomorrow and breaking out the powder skis Thursday Friday. Look for blue pants smith ios and either a black Oakley or grey saga jacket.

Anyways, they were blowing a bunch of snow today plus they got a good 3-4 inches of fresh throughout the day. I think about 40 percent of there runs will be open tomorrow and I'm gonna guess 90 percent will be open if they get the 15 inches that are expected Thursday.

Who else is gonna be there tomorrow? I could use someone to lap the park with, I'm here with my family

Ehhhh. Just watched the weather and conway is right on the line between 3-5 and 5-8. Damnit I wanted that 15 so bad haha. Looks like I'm gonna have to wait till I go back out west for school to really break in the powder skis

i was just shreddin today. they have 3 tears first has flat box and flat rail, 2nd has down rail and a-frame box, and thirs had down urban handrail, flat down box, and flat down rail

setup looks dope think it will change for saturday or will it be the same regardless im doing the rail jam and it will be a splendid time. also anyone know of the setup at wildcat?

We were there thursday the set up was; 3 rollers, flat rail, wide flat box, A frame rail, short flat box. The freeskiing was awesome!! (17" fresh)

good day there today setup was pretty fun rails were sticky but whateva man the pow was sick in the morning but started to get skied off by the afternoon still fun doe

was at attitash/bear peak a few days ago, setup is pretty good. is one of you guys the guy with the black pants and grey oakley jacket, the guy i skied with a little with the blue jacket and white oakley pants, or the guy i also saw at wildcat with the red/black/white saga jacket? i had a black/grey/purple gonzo. the wildcat park is looking even better i think, they improved it a ton over this week. from top to bottom: kicker, kicker, down rail, flat box, flat down rail, flat box. i like it a lot, been learning some new stuff because it is fairly low-key. some sick powder lately too!

park build tomorrow- bottom part of Kachina- 2 jumps and a bunch of rails and then after a few more days of snowmaking theyre making features the size of the gulch on lower mythmaker

threads for the rest of the season..this is dope im stoked to hopefully shred some jumps this weekend. I'm wearing the black ignant and olive-ish colored pants. if any attitash skiers are willing to throw down for a cam this year im gonna be filming. pm me

there should be a video up later tonight, Kyle Kliss was filming and edits pretty fast. i think he said it might be up tonight too. If it doesn't get posted on here before i get to it i'll post it. it's super fun!

first tier is a picnic table box and a flat rail then theres 2 jumps, the first one has a flat landing like 20 ish feet and the second one is real nice and about 30 feet. From there its a urban down box, rainbow box, tree jib and a hip with a propane tank on top.

i saw some kid filming random people...i don't think thats legit. if someone is going to film, they should ask the skiers first, and credit them in the video. Also if others are trying to film, they don't need another filmer in the way, who doesnt even know the skier.

i agree with Dave ^. he isn't really filming "random" kids, almost everyone there knows him. and i think he has a little gig where he's helping Attitash out with some filming. He mentioned something about it to me, i just don't remember the details.

sick edit hes got some serious editing skills i always see him filming i si there or wildcat everyweeknd i have the red pants and saga prism teal

i hope you're not calling Kyle out on editing skills in comparison to your own because i looked at your vimeo page and wasn't that impressed with the editing skills

the transitions aren't done very well, you seem to try to use a burn effect a lot and it doesn't seem to work cuz you just put a burn on one clip then it ends when that clip does and the next just pops up. i don't have any ski edits up on vimeo because i don't film too often. i'm not too much of a filmed but i'm very artsy and i can understand what it takes to have good editing. i made a music video with some alright editing in it for a school project in high school. for my small time of editing and being in an intro class with limited time to make it i feel it turned out pretty decent.https://vimeo.com/46619648 i would appreciate some feedback if you will. i Love getting critiqued because it has people try to help you. with my comments above i wasn't trying to come across as being rube, just critiquing your work with is done all the time in the art world, no need to take any of it personally.

I didn't take it personally haha, and ill def check out your video when I'm not on mobile. I appreciate the critiques as well. I'm assuming your referring to the skate video, and yeah I agree the film burns are over used, but hey I was experimenting I guess hahaa. Thanks

i saw some jumps, i also saw some rails. im at Loon for the rest of the season but should be back at the stache on my spring break

props to attitash on that park, those jumps were soo dope. perfect size! could be a bit bigger but damn those are nice. i'm thoroughly impressed with the quality of the park this year.
