As many people know attitash hasn't had the greatest of parks in the past few years. They just got a new GM and he really wants to get the park lookin good. Since we are with peak resorts as is mount snow attitash will have the guys who work on carinthia come down to work on attitash's park and also a little bit with wildcat mt. These guys are going to be working on all of the three parks by rotating around, not as concentrated on wildcats. They want to get Attitash's park looking as good as carinthia's.

any thoughts?

ya, if u continue on rt. 16 and instead of taking a left to go up towards mt washington on 16, u go strait it'll be like 5 minutes down the road on ur left. i'm wicked exited for this cuz i see how dope other parks r and i work at atty so i get a free pass and we havn't had a good park in a long time. it should be ill
 
Word. I drove by it then. I wasn't sure if that was the right place. I took whatever road that is up through the pass heading west.

I'll prolly be skiing there a couple times this winter. Hopefully the park plans work out.
 
This is an interview that has all the info on it. they start talking about the park like 3:30ish still has a bunch of great info about the upcoming season and about the improvements to the resorts at the beginning

ive always wondered why mt snow has the illest parks and attitash is owned by the same people yet attitahs's parks blowww. hopefully theyll step it up this year, that would be rad
 
i blame the last gm, he was a jewbag and didn't give a shit bout skiing. all he wanted was the $$$$$. this new guy was with attitash before when they were with American Ski Co. and is a wicked nice guy and actually cares about skiing and what we think
 
Unfortunately a lot of people are like that.

Also plenty of people who think having a park means they're all set. Doesn't matter if it's good or not as long as they have a "snowboard park".

A lot of mountains are starting to realize that it isn't a trend that's going to disappear, it just keeps getting bigger and bigger.Ultimately it ends up bringing in a lot of $$$ as well, so it seems almost stupid for some mountains to put in so little effort.

Props to any mountains making changes for the better.
 
yeah, this gm is great. the old gm also changed the name of the pub that has always been called ptarmigan's pub so this gm changed it back. everyone hated it that the guy changed it, it was dumb
 
i havn't heard anything new from what i've posted yet except that their making new elements. one of my friends is with the park crew and that's what he told me. he couldn't tell me what they're making but i'm hoping it's sick stuff. They say their gonna open this friday but we'll see. their website says they're blwoing snow on Humpphrey's, Upper Saco, Northwest Passage, Spillway, and Thad's Choice. Thad's is where the park is so they may have some elements up
 
haha, fair enough, last time i heard an update was at the ski show, which was a week ago and it has been warm. i saw some picks up of illusion that kyle posted
 
Kyle Poirier, he's one of the lifties/snowmaker and i'm friends with him on facebook and he posted a few photos of illusion.
 
Opening with just Moat ungroomed on Friday for $15 and then a rail jam at the base area for either $3 or 3 cans of food. Should be a very good time with hopefully a decent setup. See you all there!!!
 
debating on whether or not i should make a day trip tomorrow with a couple of kids. 3 hour drive and one trail/4 boxes/rails
 
Dude any amount of skiing/riding is worht it this time of year. Though the drive will suck. Youll have an amazing day there.

I will also be in attenidende and i look forward to seeing some nser's there. Ill be in the black white and grey salomon pants and black vest.
 
sounds sick i was planning to be in the north conway area this weekend and would have gone but plans changed. hopefully attitash has more rail jams this year
 
there's another rail jam december 31st. that one will probs have prizes for the top skiers and riders i don't think the one today will
 
its was actually just a session today. Tommorw swag will be handed out.

The setup is mad legit though. Make sure you bring wax though cause speed is an issue. There is a flat box. Mellow down urban rail. Down urban box, and a flat down box.

Entry fee is $3 or 3 canned food items.
 
It sucks dude. We need some snow here.

However I can see Attitash from my house and it's looking like there's some nice coverage. This weekend should be sick there
 
wordd. Chris Charle's status on facebook was somthin like "startin work today, good to be back skiing" so it sounds like they're puttin elements in. did they move the cam to face the park again?
 
today they had an a-frame box, a down rail, and an up rail. the up rail wasn't open throughout the day because there were issues with it. wasn't bad at all, i had fun
 
Im going tomorrow for a couple hours unless its really shitty weather.

We were there today looked like they were building two jumps medium size maybe 20ft? Also, there's a down tube, down box, flat bar and flat/down box. Nothing was open today...hoping for tomorrow.
