Attention Canadians, Quebec is on fire.

A train exploded in downtown Lake Megantic. At 1H20 in the morning. And something about the train couldn't brake so shit piled up. "A horrible scene."

looks like its strait out off a movie. I just hope every one is ok. Canada has had some bad luck this summer, first the floods over here in Alberta, and now this, strait fucked up.

What a tragic accident, the train "ran away" during a crew change. Yes, somehow a train carrying hundreds of thousands of liters of petrol just slipped away. It may have been parked overnight while the operators slept, I'm not clear on that. Regardless, a major fuck up.

RIP to the deceased, and vibes to those searching for loved ones.

Quebec's been turned upside down and shaken vigorously lately.

This morning some people filmed a train that was parked a few miles from the city , without a driver, with the engine running, carrying fuel , and the doors unlocked....How great is that.

Sorry for the french

I wonder how this will affect the Northern Gateway talks....

As much as I don't like the riskiness of tankers in tight coastlines, and the small risks of pipeline leaks, I don't think shipping oil directly through towns is the right answer either...regardless of how long we've been doing it for.
