Attention all aspiring ski bums: Your dream house

Absolutely fascinating. The only issue is that the expense of a house is only partly the house - people want land and it be hard to convince someone to spend $50,000 on a lot to put a $30,000 house down. I actually love the concept - the execution will just be really hard.
 
The real potential for this (from a ski bum mindset anyways) is having like 5 ski bum friends pool to buy a lot and then each buy one of these. Then you got 5 buds living on one lot for way less than the cost of a shitty house big enough for all 5 of you
 
Makes me want to buy a acre of land and put this to one side of the land and when I want to step up to a bigger house with a family the old small house could be rented out.
 
I do like that idea. I really kind of just want to buy one of these houses. It would be prime.

$28000 for a perfectly fitted place to live? Shit. That sounds perfect for me, I don't plan on having kids, and I only want a girlfriend who would live in this house with me, so yes, it's viable.
 
alright the inside looks pretty nice, but you could probably build one yourself for 15k with the help f a few friends...
 
Ya but the house has heating, plumbing, and electricity plus it's really nice inside judging from the video.
 
Whoever buys that is really really dumb. You can get like a 30' trailer at minimum for that cost, even bigger going used and you would be able to travel around with it.

Not even close to the ideal ski bum house. Have fun living in a box.
