I can slide a box normally and pop off forwards or switch pretty well, so I decided to start working on the frontside 270 out. I've been trying this for a few hours and still can't seem to rotate around enough. I can 180 just fine off small jumps so I'm used to landing switch. As you can kind of see in the video I edge my front ski to get enough grip to pop off and turn. Please give me some tips to improve!

you need to widen your stance and put your pressure on the front foot. also you can tell you're not commited when jumping on. Just my two cense.

It's def more about the feet than hucking with your upper body. Try and relax and set your edges as mentioned above.

rails are 5.3 times easier to spin off of

i kid you not. seems more difficult at first, but it's way easier to set an edge with rails.

i can fs 4 out of rails but can't fs 2 out of boxes...

I think that's an individual thing, i can spin out of boxes easier.

To the op, you need to widen your stance, and look over your right shoulder up the hill. Right now you keep looking down the landing, and that stops your rotation.

when you pop, make sure to do a full 90 and land on the box perpendicular to it, so when at the end you will have more leverage to scissor your feet and spin off. i didnt watch the clip very closely, but always keep you head in the direction you are spinning untill you become better at it, as it will help you keep your spin going.
