Attack 13s vs pivots

Should I go the more budget friendly route and go for the tyrolia attack 13s? Or spend a bit more and get some pivots, and are the pros of the pivots worth the extra cost? Also, if anybody has a link for some pivots that are on sale, it would be greatly appreciated. Need some nice bindings for my new magnus 90s.

Swapped from pivots to attack 13’s and 16’s a while back and I like the feel of the classic binding more. You get out just as good in a fall I think

attacks are gonna be way better for riding in pow or off piste cause when you eject pivots can be a pain in the ass, especially in deep snow. attacks also have a way wider toe piece and it feels easier to get wide skis on edge in them. if theyre just park skis get pivots for the culture and the fashion bc white pivots match everything

I will never understand when people say it's hard to click into pivots in deep snow. It's literally no harder than normal. haha

You are right that the wide platform of the attack can create a better power transfer on a wide ski, but the difference is really negligible. The stack height on the attack is something that is nice since it's the lowest out of all the good alpine bindings, but the pivot is the next lowest and still has that low stack height feel.

In reality, the release of the pivot is second to none and the pros that the attacks have in no way outweigh the release values the pivot has. Not to mention the mounting pattern is very compact and especially in the heel it doesn't prevent any dead spots in the flex of a ski (only really noticeable on a soft ski though)

obviously there are variables but I've pre released from my attacks several times, one time resulting in injury but never pre-released from pivots. I don't really trust my skis with attacks now and am considering switching them over to pivots or sths.

Unless you have a problem with your knee's and meed to avoid injury at all cost Attack's are better imo
