Atomos Monitor

Recently just got to use a Atomos Ninja Flame on a project with a Ronin M. It was amazing!! I need a monitor for my Ronin anyway also for other projects and what not. So looking to get some feedback if anyone is rocking one. Really liked the interface and build and everything with the Atoms, (roommate has a SmallHD, its not for me) but I was looking at the Ninja Flame and the Shogun Flame. Anyone use the Shogun before? The Shogun has XLR, so would I be able to record audio directly the it from my boom or my lab mics, aka if I went that route I could sell my Zoom H4? That would be huge to have the audio right there recorded. Any information helps. Really stoked to get this! Any feedback hypes me up. Thanks!

I've used the Ninja Flame, a guy I work with used on a commercial shoot I worked with him on. I loved it haha, they're such an awesome tool. I've never used the Shogun, but from what you said, if you would be able to record audio straight to that and replace the Zoom recorder, that would be awesome. Best of luck man!

I tried to do the best research I could and it looks like it does record audio directly to it! so I think I may spend the extra cash and get the Shogun!
