Atomix Punx vs. Fischer Nightstick

So basically I can get both of these skis for $300 right now and I have a few questions about them (especially the Nightstick)

Which one is more durable?

Which one is stiffer?

Also, just any prior knowledge of the skis.

General Info

145lbs, 5'7", 16, 80/20 Park/All-mtn, 60/40 Jumps/Rails, Marker Squire 90mm bindings

Nightsticks are way stiffer and better durability.Ive seen durability problems with 2013/14 punx from multiple people while no complaints about anything except how stiff the Nightsticks were. Even then, they still said they weren't just stiff, they were poppy as shit. From what Ive heard and seen, the nightsticks are a gnarlier ski with better durability than punx. plus I have skied the 2013/14 punx and hated them. They were completely dead with no pop whatsoever and they were used for 1 day

But if you hit big jumps a lot the punx are great, I havnt had any problems with them

im a huge fan of the punx. pretty soft tho, so if youre looking for something stiff if would go elsewhere

What year do you have? I heard they made them stiffer in the 13-14 version

I actually just picked up the 13-14 version punx brand new and the Atomic infamous 13-14 also brand new. I can tell you that they are fairly stiffer than the infamous but super light (comparing to my old skis, 2011 threats), I got the 176 version and love them, although I've never ridden them (since it's summer) I can't wait, they seem so fun but not too stiff. Want to say I recommend them but can't since I haven't used them yet. One thing I can say to give you some perspective, the infamous I got is 171 and my punx 176 yet holding them both at the same time the punx are about the same weight (neither have bindings mounted yet) so hope I helped.

Fischer Nightsticks are a very durable ski. Also more stiff. However, I find them so stiff that they have no give at all. I love the Punx, I've had a pair since 08/09 and I just stopped using them last year. They are incredibly durable, I've used them 150+ times and they're barely touched. Both great skis, I'd say whichever you like better.

They have stiffened them from previous season but they woild not be classed a stif ski though. I love punx they are such a good park ski. Loads of pop and super light which are my main criteria for park skis. I had no durabity issues and we did not have any back to the shop which is alway a good sign. I have not skied the Fischer so can't comment I'm afraid.

i've ridden Nightsticks and they were so soft compared to my Ace's. From these two I would def go with the Punx. ive only ever ridden the 12'13's punx but i absolutely loved them back in the day.
