This series of boots has been in development for over 2 years, with the goal of making a real freeride boot for the medium wide foot. Most boots in this category tend to be really narrow, so to have a solid boot for this foot shape isn't very common. It utilizes our Carbon Spine technology that helps keep the boot light but also really powerful, has swappable norm grip pads in case you ever want to use TLT style touring bindings, a highly insulating boot board to help keep feet warm when out in the snow all day, and a metal-on-metal walk mechanism that delivers 35° of mobility.

This series is the choice of Benchetler, Sage, Dana Flahr, and even non-Atomic athletes like Eric Pollard. If you have tried this boot on and it fits your foot shape and the stiffness is appropriate for you, then you will be really stoked on them.

I really like the boots in this new series. I had a pair of the overload 120 at the end of last season and spent some time in the waymaker 130 at the start of this season. They are incredibly responsive boots. I came from an spk so anything was going to be an improvement but I was amazed how much more I could drive the boots. The carbon spine really helps stabilise the back and also really makes the boot laterally very stiff meaning you can really drive the edges. The waymaker had a very nice walk mode, good range of motion and a solid locking mode. I really never felt any difference in the waymaker to the overload when it was locked. The last was great for me. I do have a mid width foot at around 101mm under load and a size 26. This matched really well with the clog shape and the only work I needed to do was square off the medial side of the toe box. It's also one of the few boots I used the stock liner. I usually just swap out to a foam injection straightaway but I thought I should try the stock liner and was really impressed. Flex wise I found the 120 great for me, I had it in stiff and upright setting wise. For me I found the 130 a little stiff I would really want a waymaker 120 but I think with a bit more time in them the 130 would be good. So yeah overall I was really impressed by both boots. Let me know if you have any other questions.

sweet thanks guys good to hear some other feedback i have been loving them, and i came over from an old pair of spks that i bought used of someone for 50 buck haha so didnt have to much other boots riding in to compare with. love the liners so far to was going to get intuitions but ill stick with these for awhile.
