looks like a pretty normal split board.

Its just a splitboard for backcountry snowboarders.... you cant ski on them you can only put skins on and hike up a hill. Lots of people make these.

there are a few swallowtail designs out there for both skis and boards.

it is supposed to let the tail drop lower in the snow a bit, thereby helping the tip to not dive as much in powder.

i have never ridden any skis with swallowtails, but that is the thought behind the tail design.

its similar to a swallow tail on a ski, the notch on the back lets the board sink in the tail while bringing the tip up out of the pow which gives better floatation
