so I can get a deal on next years PIMPS. what is the flex like on these skis. I ride rossi BC scratches (black and white ones from 2-3 years ago) and would like to know how they compare. i know they are fatter but other than that are there any major differences. thanks
 
They're pretty soft. Definitely more of a jump-oriented powder ski than a charging ski. I haven't ridden a pair of this year's, but everyone seems to like the older ones more. There's a review in my profile if you want to see how I thought last year's were for mixed AT and resort skiing.
 
thanks a lot man. your review is really helpfull. I would use them manly for BC but would have liked to take them out inbounds as well on occasions. so i guess i should try and find a demo or something befor i decide. thanks again
 
They're really a love it or hate it ski, so a demo would be a really good idea. I like really damp skis so the Pimps aren't really working for me when it isn't untracked blower. Fortunately I haven't ridden them off that stuff very often, but when I do I'm not a big fan. Definitely look into it though, I know a lot of people who love theirs.
 
I've never ridden a pair. Just from flexing them and talking to people that have ridden the BC's, they seem like a more versatile ski. But that's just a guess.
