Has anyone skied this ski yet? If so, what did you think of it/how was it?

I won an atomic infamous shirt. It's pretty nice for a ski company shirt, didn't shrink at all when I washed it and and the silk screening is still mint, not to mention its made out of some seriously soft cotton.

Yeah I got to test them and the new punx out. There are really stiff and stable, and also pretty playfull. The edges have a "landing zone" which does make the ski feel awesome when landing. I felt like I could pretty much ski out of any landing. They have a good weight and feel pretty snappy

I got to ski a prototype a couple of weeks ago. It was a 171 when I usually ride 181 so I was expecting it to be just a little test to see how they felt. But they skied amazingly. I lapped whistler park for a few hours and they were great. They are symmetrical so they ride switch so well. I can honestly say I have never been on a better switch ski. The flex is soft and forgiving in the tip and tail. They have some stiffness underfoot which helps them hold an edge fairly well. I would compare them to a slightly stiffer Thall. The rocker was very nice, did not make the ski unstable but just gave a nice buttery feel to the tip and tail.
Even though they were a text pair I took them on some boxes and even with new sharp edges they felt very much at home sliding. Very easy to pop the ski and it felt stable on rails and boxes. On jumps they felt good, I would have preferred a longer size so I wont comment too much on teh jump performance, as the size and the soft flex meant I could not push them too hard.
Overall though its a really fun ski. Where the punx are awesome comp skis these will suit the majority of this site who prefer a jib ski. The price will also be a very big factor for most.

Cant wait to get my hands on those, even thought they're a "jib ski" didn't Jossi Wells use them in dew tour, or atleast in big air? So is it gonna be atomic's team new comp ski. The marketing team sure did it's job on hyping the hell outta 'em.

who knows the base material on these things? and the punx for that matter. is it fast if waxed regularly? my bases are slow as shit and it's horrible for me in slush and bleh.

^the bases are good. I had punx this year and spent some time on the infamous. Atomic are a raced based brand so they know what they know what they are doing with bases. If they are waxed regularly they are very good, and hold up very well.
