Im a tech at a ski shop, and what I would do if those came in is get all of the splinters and crap out of there, then heat it up a bit with a heat gun. then pour epoxy down tho flap, filling it entirely, and as deeply as possible. use the heat gun to get it further. then clamp the tip as tight as possible, using ski scrapers, or something else flat to even the pressure. the epoxy should pour out of the sides, thats good though. you can chip it off later. let it dry somewhere warm overnight, and it'll be good.
