Atomic Durability

I have skied on filthy riches for the last two seasons and have beat the shit out of them, the edges just started ripping out, so I am looking into some new skis for next season.

I would love to get a new pair of filthy riches, but I am not sure if I will be able to afford them.

I have been looking at either the Punx or Infamous and was curious what experiences others have had with to durability.

I'm sure other people can give you better info but i have heard the punxs are pretty stout but the infamousness don't take a beating for long.

I just bought a pair of the 2014 Punx really cheap so I'm stoked. From what i've seen and read, the Punx are really durable and a lot of fun both in and out of the park. I definitely wouldn't go for the 2014 Infamous, too many problems with delamination. If you can get a good deal on the 2014 Punx, go for it.

Heres a link to Atomic's 2015 Alpine skis, the Punx and Infamous (which are hopefully stronger for 2015) are toward the end.

All I can say is even with the built in rivets on the infamous it still delams extremely easily. Go with the punx if anything, I have not seen one pair come into the shop that had a durability issue.

Rode my punx for 4 years after that they kind of turned to shit, but still, 4 years is a pretty damn good life of a ski
