Atomic Blogs

I'm thinking of picking up a new pair of powder skis this coming season and am stoked on the new Atomic Blog. A few of my friends have skied it and said it's sick so I want to give it a go but I need some advice on what size to get:

- I'm 5"11 tall, 150lbs

- Currently ski a pair of 171cm AR6's

Since it's rockered I reckon I should get the 185cm as it'll ski shorter but what do you guys think? 177cm or 185cm? Also has anyone skied the 2011 Blog?

Thanks for the help.

The Blog is 110mm underfoot. The Blog has something called “Pop Rocker,” which is basically just camber underfoot with 10mm of rocker in the tip and tail.
So basically the Blog does not have that much rocker because it's camber underfoot and only has rocker in the tip and tail but if I was 5'11 i would go with the 185 but it's all about preference.
My friend has the ski and loves it, and let me ride it for a couple runs in some Steamboat Backcountry and It was really playful and responsive so yeaa its a sick ski.

I am 5'8 145lbs. I had a pair of 177cm Blogs this year. They were mounted with marker dukes about 2 cm back from center. They were great all round skis. They railed on the groomers were quick to turn and not bad in the pow. However, I ended up selling them because they were too short. I ride 185cm JJs as my pow ski and 178 Rossis as my park/groomer ski. I would recommend you get them in a 185cm legth. I might get a pair of 185s myself. hope this helps.
