Atomic Blog or Bent Chetler?

I pretty much have it narrowed down to trying to chose between the atomic blog and bent chetler. I have mostly skied park and usually stick to rails and jibbing. I do have some powder experience though. I am looking for a fun powder ski that is good for jibbing, can handle groomers, will work for backcountry skiing, backcountry jumps and switch landings/skiing. I am 6'4 and 190 pounds. Any suggestions or input to what i should choose would be great.

Hey man,

Both skis actually handle groomers incredibly well for rockered pow skis. The Bents are slightly less versatile than the Blogs, but someone I know skis the Bent Chetlers everyday on groomers, in the park, and even in the pipe sometimes. If you are looking for something that will be slightly better suited for park I would say the Blogs, but which ski you choose really depends on what you will be skiing more.

Hope this helps.

if youre looking for a BC jib ski then its definitely going to be the bentchetlers. If you want something that will be a bit better for charging a line then go for the blogs. I have to say though, the bennychetlers are one hell of a versatile ski and i loved they way they preformed from the hardpack to the pow to the trees and even the park. super fun ski.

I just picked up a pair of blogs and i think they are going to be sick. After skiing a season on chopsticks i decided i wanted something that was better everywhere and lighter and more maneuverable. il be skiing on them this thursday so Il let you know what I think of them. I think they will be a better jumping ski than the bentchetlers just because they are a bit smaller and being 110 underfoot you can still have fun in the park.
