simple enough im looking to huck it on jumps and press on rails and wanting to know which one is better

Punx for jumps and rails, dont know about urban how the will hold up though. Punx are super light and not expensive also really soft so i would go with them.

saw that video of that adult trying to break punx for like 5 mins, he couldnt at All. presumably durable

didnt want to start a new thread so here i go, really looking at the punx, just fed up with my chronics that are the 08s i believe. they are a pretty heavy ski compared to the punx and i had them in a 171. im almost 6 foot and since the punx are lighter and i want a bigger ski shall i just go with the 182 instead of the 173s. just feel like the 173 wouldnt do me justice. i do ride mostly all park. thanks for any info!

The Punx and Recoil are two very different skis. The Punx is a symmetrical all-park ski while the Recoil is a rockered, non-symmetrical and rather stiff all-mountain ski.

I think that you should consider your skiing style. The Recoil is going to be a lot more versatile but the fully symmetrical sidecut of the Punx might make more sense if you're going to spend all of your time in the park.
