AT Bindings inbounds?

What are your thoughts? I'm looking for a light pair of midrange skis (100-106 underfoot) to use as an all mountain inbounds workhorse. I was just thinking it would be great to have them as a touring set up as well but not sure if that would work.

Basically I would ski these in and out of bounds frequently. Would an AT binding work for use like that?
 
There’s Salomon Shift made for this purpose. There’s gonna be Marker Duke PT next season.

I’m using Dynafit Beast 14 in my one ski quiver.
