Astro turf

i was just wondering wheather instead of using astro turf to put on a drop in could you use carpet?

mainly just cos i dont have a huge amount of money to spend and i have a friend who is redoing his carpet so has alot spare

i used carpet i found from an old factory for a while this summer and ya it works the only catch is you need fuckloads of water i would suggest trying to see if you can find some snow fence to use for the top half or so of youre set up
