Assembling a Kracked Skulls Longboard

I got my M1 in the mail yesterday and I need some info on how to put the trucks and wheels on. I'm pretty bad at this stuff, and I couldn't find any instructions on the internet. If anyone has found some or can explain the steps to me I'd appreciate it.

Mainly I don't know which way the trucks face, whether the larger red gummy thing should be on the inside or outside, and how to screw back on the nut once the truck is in place.

Thanks for the help, if not I'm gunna call the guy tomorrow.

it should have instructions in it, but if not, shoot him an email. he will respond in no time.

This shows how to take them apart and put them back together. Randals hangers work both ways. Basically just put it together how that guy originally had his

Okay, thanks, so I need to take the metal plate thing off from the board, assemble the truck and then put it back on?

And I got no instructions

to the op... skateboard trucks arent exactly rocket science. Im sure youll think im being an asshole, but seriously man? its not that fucking difficult. And REALLY???? you bought one of the most legit, sickest, and in my humble opinion, best longboards, and you clearly dont have a goddamn clue about longboarding, drop through trucks, or parts in general.

Maybe, instead of buying a kracked skulls because it was the cool thing to do, and everyone on NS (including myself) has one and said its the best board, you should have done a little research.

I cannot fucking wait to see a thread from you tomorrow afternoon saying "Oh Holy Fuck Balls! I decided the bomb a hill way outta my league and i fucked myself up"

Good luck homie. Try not to die.

lots of beginning boarders get kracked skulls because they are the best for the pricepont. At that range, the only other options are shitty sector 9s and whatnot. You could also congradulate him on picking up a new sport and be stoked that another guy is getting into the fun sport of longboarding.

or you can just be a douche.

You don't need to take the plate off the board. You just stick the hangar (the axle piece) into the cup and then stick the bolt through the hole. You can then put the nut on the other side and tighten it until your trucks are as tight as you desire.

Then sticking the wheels on is easy, but make sure not to tighten the nuts on the wheels too tight. You should just barely be able to wiggle the wheel side to side.

This man is right.

I'm getting my first longboard after riding a friends S9 (Piece o' crap)

And I'm getting a Kracked Skulls. Why?

Because I've heard they're FANTASTIC boards, very stable, and cheap as hell.

No reason to hate on that.

Wow you are a douchebag. When I got my KS I hadn't put a set of skate trucks together since I was about 12 and I had to ask a friend how. Was bombing 30mph+ within a couple of weeks. I did get hurt a LOT though. Advice to OP: wear a helmet. I don't wear a helmet for skiing or basically anything, but I fuckin do when I bomb hills.

It basically goes: washer, bushing, hanger, bushing, washer. Put the kingpin in and tighten it down pretty much as far as it can go without crushing/squeezing/distorting the bushing. Try it out and if you want loosen it up a bit, but not too much. If its not putting any pressure on the bushing at all then that is as loose as its going, and you need a softer bushing set if you want the trucks to feel looser.
I was just out mobbing my Original board around tonight, shit is way too much fun.

If you knew anything you would know that skateboard trucks are not the same as longboard trucks. So I think a "Shut the fuck up" is in order here.

To the OP if it is a drop through put the king pin threw the whole in the board so it is pointing out to the end of the board. Put your mounting hardware threw the holes screw it in. Then take the Washer then fit the bushing inside of it, then put the hanger on into the little cup called the pivot cup, bushing, washer, then the nut. I usually tighten the nut until there is one thread showing. If you need anymore help you can PM me.

yeah dude, we should totally talk down to kids trying to get into longboarding. KS is frankly the best entry level board that you can get. Its not like longboarding is very hard to pick up either stop giving the guy a hard time and hop off your high horse.

this may have been said already but when i was putting mine together i got stumped and came to ns and got the super simple anwser

i dont remember exactly but its really hard to tighten the screw and nut cuz its in an awkward position but you have to hold the nut and screw the screw not hold the screw and trun the nut

get what im sayin (if that was ur problem) and it was snwbrdmilf who anwsered me im pretty sure so you know its legit
