Aspen Park Report?

Anybody in Aspen know if there is a jump line set up yet? Gonna roll through on Sunday and I see it's low tide and freeze-thaw, so an afternoon of park is probably my best bet. What's going on at snowmass and buttermilk?

buttermilk supposedly has a decently long park set up, cant say anything about specific features as i havent been there yet. Snowmass has 2 very small jumps, a good selection of jibs and a super mini pipe, and i think they are planning on opening the upper park in a day or two to make it a much longer lap with larger/more interesting rails.

Hopefully buttermilk isn't as sketch now. In the past would rather ride anything snowmass has. Hopefully bmilk found some diggers that care about safety/quality of the park output more than sitting on their phones in the shop. Possibly the sketchiest place I ever worked. Including ice coast hills 10+ years ago.

Buttermilk did get a new mountain manager this season. Curious to see how the mountain is doing in the park department and mountain wide.

Interesting. I know they got rid of their park manager going into last season as well. Hopefully they pull it together. They could have a sick park, they have plenty of features and $$. Also xgames bringing in the loot and paying for a ton of snowmaking. Getting left with a generally dialed jump line and pipe after.

Seemed like snowmass was hungry for buildin some decent stuff though. Some nice creative/symmetrical features. I don't really like the layout of snowmasses park that much but it's all good. It's not that short but it feels kinda short. Features are always pretty dialed though. They could use some upgrades on the smaller features though.Didn't see what they built last year though.

Snowmass seemed interesting cause they had the Grand prix last year. Was a cool setup. Only stuff I saw at Bmilk was at xgames features. I know last year was in Limbo cause they were running with a temporary manager.

Yeah hopefully they come out better after it. Place needed some changes. Also a lot of times day crew guys don't stick around for too long so hope they can get some decent staff there. They were hurting for park groomers as well though. They pay pretty decent for the ski industry, and if they've made some good moves maybe it will be a solid park again.
