Hey NS, I'm working on research paper for school. The topic is on the different disciplines of skiing and the various equipment used for each. Could some people please give a short blurb that I could quote and add to my paper that's about the different disciplines/equipment and it's evolution. Also, all input on the poll is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Its all skiing bro. Why do you got put us all into your neat little boxs? Every Single one of those niche ski boxes you have selected for us grossly overlap... with the exception Nordic skiing .. which could easily be broken down into its own subcategories..... You can do all these "types" of alpine skiing with the same gear, in the same day, and sometimes in the same run.

Skiing isn't about conformity, or about being pigeon holed. Never was , never will be.

Put that in your paper.
