As a New England teen...

Quechee VT for some swimming/cliff/bridge jumping, (bring friends because there are plenty of places to chill and relax.) plus its only an hour and a half from Burlington, = endless fun
 
Yeah, it was awesome. We left Connecticut where we keep our boat on memorial day weekend, to NYC, around to the south side of long island, hit up some sick surf spots there for the spring waves, mid June we went up to the cape, hit up some surf spots there, went up to Maine for a week, came back downtown mass, surfed some more, then mid to late aguast went back to long island to surf the late summer/early fall swells until mid September. Best summer of my life by far
 
Haha no, Falmouth, Maine.

Falmouth seems great, I haven't really spent much time there. Cape Elizabeth just has gorgeous spots on the water.
 
Dude... you live in New England. That's not a "boring ass region". Try the Midwest--I live in Central Ohio right now for school (Ohio State) and it's flat as shit, hot and humid here. New England is beautiful, Ohio has farms. On the other hand, Nebraska takes the cake for most boring place ever though.
 
there was this restaurant (waterfront) somewhere in Rhode Island that served really good seafood.

god, this thread is making me wish i didnt have my summer job (working 50+ hours a week). would love to go re-hike/ visit a lot of the places i went with my family when i was much younger
an easy day trip (to start with, at least) from Western Mass would be Mount Monadnock, its has a lot of traffic on the weekends but its a fairly easy hike with a great view on a clear day (can see boston, mt wachuset, and the green mountains from the summit)
 
there's some place in maine where u can go skydiving and white water rafting in one weekend. i'm gonna do it this summer, it should be ill!
 
Love Chebeague Island, I have stayed on there a few times and it is so cool. Also, five islands is really nice. I would love to live on the coast of Maine and be a lobsterman for the rest of my life........
 
i live on the ocean so im at the beach every day (saco, maine) i work at an ice cream shop on the beach in old orchard beach which is a pretty fun town, there's the train tressel in windham, salmon falls, a lot of hiking. you can do pretty much anything outside. i personally spend my summers playing games like bocce on the beach haha
 
idk why you kids from New England are always hating on your area... i went to Vermont for spring break and that shit was so rad. skiing was great, and the east coast was real chill. i hate seeing people from the east being like yeah the skiing out here sucks, its always shitty snow and cold... trying coming to michigan where the biggest hill is the size of the parking lot at killington...
 
Yaaa Salmon Falls! OOB is pretty fun once in a while... a bit trashy at times, but the beach is very nice.
 
haha OOB is always trashy, I love watching the fights that break out while I'm at work. But what I reccomend is driving up the road along the beach a couple more miles to kinney shores and bayview, the beaches are way nicer and all the locals from saco go there so no trashy oob scum

Yesss my close friend lives there and the water is prime to swim in. Not so much surfing because the waves aren't great, but the water is warm most of the time and the beach is nice and quiet.
 
i love new england. kingdom trails has some of the best mountain biking in the country. hit up swanky frank's in newtown, south norwalk, and westport CT. five guys burgers and fries is also awesome. bash bish in new york is some great cliff jumping. if you like the outdoors and aren't a lazy dick who sits inside all day, then new england is full of possibilities.
